Sarah’s Key
Our Thoughts
It’s really too bad many of our members didn’t read this book, the story of the Jewish round-up in Paris in 1942 juxtaposed with the story of a modern American woman living in Paris. Though reminiscent of The Virgin Blue (read during the 2004 – 2005 season), in the way it moves backward and forward in time, and though some of the characters were merely stereotypes, it’s such a quick, easy read that it would be worth it for the historical story alone.
