Hello there. I was just wondering if you’re open to accepting new members and, if so, how do I join? I can also recommend a book that doesn’t appear to be on your read list. Burial Rites by Hannah Kent. Please let me know. Thanks!
Hi Lorraine, thanks for inquiring but don’t you live on another continent? ;D Might be a bit far to travel for our monthly book club. I have added Burial Rites to our list of suggested books – thanks!
I recently read 2 very fine books that I thought you might enjoy: THE READERS OF BROKEN WHEEL RECOMMEND, an international best seller by Katarina Bivald. A blurb from the jacket reads, “A heartwarming reminder of why we are book lovers, this is a sweet, smart story about how books find us, change us, and connect us”. NINE WOMEN, ONE DRESS by Jane L. Rosen. It seems to be a TRAVELING PANTS book for adults. It’s funny, too.
Ugh Sally – just saw this. Thanks for the recs – we will see about getting them for next year!
Hello All,
I am new to Brunswick and am very interested in joining a new bookclub. I’m originally from QLD, but have just returned from living in London for 5 years with my husband. Are you open to accepting new members?
Thanks for your time, Fran.
Hi Fran, sorry just saw this. We’re across the pond from you (a Brunswick in the States) otherwise we would have loved to have you!
Hi Book Babes,
I’d like to suggest you read Ishmael by Daniel Quinn.
I’d also like to know whether you are open to accepting new members?
Thanks
Anna
Hi Anna, thanks for the recommendation. We are open to new members but people don’t often realize our location – we are in the States….still interested?
