Our Thoughts

This book is confusing at first, written as a series of letters, telegrams and journal entries by, to or about Juliet Ashton, the central character, unusually a features writer for a post WWII London newspaper, in search of her next book. A letter from a resident of Guernsey (a Channel Island), sets her off on a path towards learning their story of occupation and survial during the war and changes her life forever.
